As part of our outreach, Cosmopolis works with the historic Richelieu Lycée, Odessa’s oldest and most distinguished school for gifted students.
Cosmopolitans — including anthropologist Anastasia Piliavsky, poet and biologist Mikhail Son, and historian Vladislav Vod’ko — volunteer their time to give talks, share their research, and involve students in lively discussions across fields from marine biology to anthropology.
Piliavsky is also coordinating a companion initiative, Empathy Bridges, which links the Richelieu Lycée with Father Agnel School in New Delhi. Through this program, students are launching joint science and cultural projects, preparing their collaborative research for publication, and taking part in international competitions.
