Depuis le port humaniste et cosmopolite d’Odessa, Ukrainian Cosmopolis se veut un cercle intellectuel international, voué à la défense de la pensée libre dans un temps où dominent l’inquiétude et l’incertitude.
Nous réunissons celles et ceux qui refusent la censure et se dérobent aux facilités de l’orthodoxie — écrivains, chercheurs, esprits créateurs pour lesquels la liberté intellectuelle et le courage civique ne sont pas des choix, mais des devoirs envers la cité.
Par nos débats, nos résidences et nos initiatives publiques, nous entretenons l’art du dialogue franc et de la dispute raisonnée — fortifiant l’immunité civique de l’Ukraine contre toutes formes d’extrémisme, et contribuant à préserver la promesse de son avenir démocratique.
